Feauxmega Moonswatch

Don’t know if anybody’s posted this yet, but I saw these on the bay. First time I’ve come across them. I wonder if these paint your wrist too 🤔

I saw some watches today on a site whose name begins with “Et” and ends with “sy” that are supposedly “handmade” Patek Philippe Calatravas for $435 as well as some supposed MoonSwatches for $135.

Pardon my language, but $&@! that site for allowing such blatantly obvious counterfeiting. Too bad for the legitimate sellers, but I hope the site tanks.

aliexpress for around 35 bucks.

The bay has them for $38 with free shipping.

I bet these are of a better build quality compared with the real-deal Swatches.

A lot of fakes do come with metal casing under the plastic, mineral crystal and better movements than the legit Moonswatch.

However, I strongly suggest against buying fakes in any case. I guess these are fine if they are a homage with a different logo and whatnot, but I have seen cases where they'll have changed that on the listing, but the actual thing is just a fake Moonswatch with the original logos and everything copied.

I wouldn’t take much effort to be better quality than the MoonSwatch. LOL

The Moonswatch has a 4 jewel ETA quartz in it which is the best part of it.

The fakes would have a cheap Chinese one put together in a sweatshop somewhere.

If an homage to a moonwatch (not necessarily a "MoonSwatch") is what you're after, a Pagani Design or Corguet might be a much better choice IMHO.

·

No they don't! That's how you can tell if your MoonSwatch is genuine. It leaves paint on your wrist and starts falling apart in a month or two. The Chinese haven't figured out how to duplicate that yet. 🙄

Here's mine, complete with a small step for hommage kind of shot. No not painted the wrist, buttons haven't fell off and only £23. It's OK and a bit of fun(I did a post on it on here).
