Aww man. No worries. Maybe next time I'm in Austin I'll reach out to you. By the way, how's the watch repair and servicing landscape there? I'm looking for a new watchmaker, as my guy moved away.

I haven't gotten any mechanical movements serviced in a while; about 20 years ago, I went to Benolds Jewelers, but it's been a long time. For everything else, batteries and such, I go to Timemasters. They are a small family-owned shop, and they are terrific people. I believe they do service on mechanical watches, but I've never been there for that.

I’m in Houston and am currently looking for some watch meets in the area. Haven’t found any so far so I’d be down in arranging something
