I haven't gotten any mechanical movements serviced in a while; about 20 years ago, I went to Benolds Jewelers, but it's been a long time. For everything else, batteries and such, I go to Timemasters. They are a small family-owned shop, and they are terrific people. I believe they do service on mechanical watches, but I've never been there for that.

Well, bad news, I just checked their website, and they no longer do servicing on mechanical watches, but if you ever need service on a quartz they still do those. https://timemastersaustin.com/

I'm on the boarder but go up for astros games, maybe during baseball season
I’m in Houston and am currently looking for some watch meets in the area. Haven’t found any so far so I’d be down in arranging something
