Like the dial and the dimensions. Personally, I am not a big fan of a bracelet which has polished and brushed elements. Have this on the Lunar Pilot and it is the only flaw of the watch.

Looks thin!

Available on the awesome Bader bracelet and also a Canvas strap (and only £550 on the strap IIRC)

I'm not a chronograph type, but this one has a few interesting features - namely high precision quartz and the coloured hands.

·

Not much wrong with it - but nothing there that makes me really want it.

·

Not particularly interesting to me.

It’s quartz. That surprised me.

Wait. Is it quartz?

Yup. ETA G10.212 AD.

A ‘thermocompensated and chronometer-certified quartz chronograph caliber’ no less :)

·

I really like it, but not in the market right now for another quartz watch (or another chrono).

Probably a fantastic 1-watch collection piece, but the usual CW target market is sure people with more than 1 watch in their collection 😅

·

I like this a lot. Not normally a Chrono fan but this is nice.

·

I'm in the market for a reverse panda chronograph, a marine chronometer, a better field watch than my Berny, and a high accuracy quartz as a reference for the rest of my collection. My sweet spot is 39mm and my comfortable price range is sub 1000 €/$.

🆘Please talk me out of this watch!

·

I do like it. Quartz is a surprise but if you are going quartz, go higher precision, and they did.

·

Really like it. I would buy it on the canvas though and save 200 bucks.

·

Why don’t CW ever make a watch that has a bigger than 1mm bezel

·

There's a lot to like here!!! Love that there's no stupid 24 hour subdial and that they didn't try to cram a date window between the subdials. Like that it's quartz (keeps it thin) and I like the use of the different colors on the subdial hands.

To me, it looks like the bezel needs.... Something. That's my only gripe. And maybe the price is a bit high.

·

Too bad it's a quartz

·

I think the bigger surprise is it's a quartz...I'm a big fan of the light catcher cases now that we have one in the house

Any data on precision? HAQ should be in the order of few seconds a year.

Just found it. That's pretty precise.

Love those specs 🤤

Edit: for comparison, current Bulova precisionists have a wider tolerance, my Jet Star is losing between 1.5 to 2 seconds a month.

·

Looks clean. Waiting on the 36mm though.

·

What will I do without a 24 hour dial!?!!?

I totally agree here, since they have no other quartz options in the catalog, why make this one quartz? Or why not have both options? Seems an odd choice.

·

This is the first time I’ve seen a quartz watch with the chronometer label. Am I missing something or is this unusual?

The MOD watches have an agreed to price cap. The bronze Sandhurst was never available to order with a bronze bracelet even though the bracelet was available at launch (you still can't order them together as a package). You always had to buy the bracelet separately so that the watch could stay under the cap. A mechanical chrono would have never made it under the cap.

Having all three branches in one watch was an interesting choice. I sort of wish they would have gone with an aviation themed version instead.

The numerals on the dial are an interesting throwback to the motorsports chronographs they used to do.

·

Does it use seagull's movement? Or is it “Swiss”?

Still waiting for a chrono with the ST19 movement and a Lightcatcher case. Proxima, do you read this?

·

They keep surprising! A Chronograph this thin at this price = Quartz and that's why this is a masterstroke. I want to see this on leather, bund and nato straps. If it's a strap monster, the overall aesthetic and specs are meant to make you ask yourself, "do I really need an IWC or 15m thick chronograph for close to $4k or have a multi watch collection where this is my chronograph instead?
