This is my world today- a foot on the ground and maybe as much still to come. What's a good watch for shoveling/snow-blowing? Anyone want to lend me a GS Snowflake for the day!?๐ค

Wow you guys got hit!! Iโm down in CT and we got a little snow this morning but nothing like that. Iโm so done with snow Iโd be so mad lol. Best of luck and be safe of the roads if you have to drive ๐
Haha, looks like home. This is my go to for that type of activity.

I was born and went to graduate school in Middletown so I can reliably tell you that you can be here enjoying this in about 2.5 hours...normally.
Parents are likely near you. For shame. Luckily, we just had sleet a little south of NH
Sell the watches and fly south.
Wow, powerdrif with road bike in parking lot would be a lot of fun (and some breaked bones in the end), I am sou jealous right now, winter in Latvia ended 6 weeks ago ๐ญ
I think, any white dail โ would do!
Bro. Itโs waaaay too late for all that ๐๐๐ I really hope Maryland doesnโt see any of that anytime soon.
Did you say spring time or spring drive? Anyway, the obvious choice is a camouflage watch:
Same here in New Hampshire , sucks
Explorer II in polar while or the new speedy. โบ๏ธ
And in Minnesota Iโm thinking about going bicycling.
Looks like โthe groundhogโ was wrong! ๐ณ
I love winter, I wear my favorite watch when I'm out every day!
Quick, somebody, please loan that guy a pair of shoes!
Youโre thinking about it all wrong! Sending you some Florida sunshine, temperatures in the 70s, and this beautiful Grand Seiko Rikka (Summer) to warm your spirits!
Which reference is that white Casio?
Something waterproof, maybe a dive watch.

Except for one smaller storm winter ended here about a month ago, but Mother Nature always likes to let us know who the boss is!

I'm in NH. ๐

I just realized the irony that I took that shot of the Rikka against my Japanese Maple bonsai collection, something you are more likely to see up in your climate rather than here in Florida! (Like nowhere in Florida except in private collections!)
We lived in NH for 23 years.....I remember those clean up days!
I lived "away" from '94 through '22...and willingly returned. Days like today make me question my sanity!
Something waterproof, maybe a dive watch.
I'm thinking a Smith's Everest, something which has actually been tested at the tops of the coldest mountaintops! ๐ฅถ
Where do you live? Nunavut? ๐ฏLast time I saw snow at this time of year, was 2013, which was an anomaly and there wasn't a lot around.
Na' Hampsha. Days like today aren't "normal" in April, but I remember a good number of them in my youth!

Thank you! Love it!
Not as bad here but still snowing. Some how my new watch did not โage nicelyโ ๐๐
This is my Autumn garden, you can keep that weather ๐ฆ๏ธ . Stay warm fellow cruncher. Brrrrrrrrr
Blue glacier!
But seriously
Ti or ceramic (or plastic ๐ฌ) for shovelling snow in the cold
Steel is painful when itโs exposed to subzero temps!!
Ti and ceramic both have lower thermal conductivity than steel- and feels comfy in extreme temps ๐ค
