I think I need a purple dial!

As I was browsing today I came across a few beautiful purple dial watches. I realized that I'm going to need a purple dial in the collection. The world of purple is new to me so I am putting out the call. Let's see the purple dial watches in your collections! I'd love to see what is out there and feed my newest subcategory obsession. @StNobody inspired this post. I was staring at your #islander Northport a lot today. Just being honest.

Namica Shirahama Neo Tokyo

I don't have one but I really like this

Your honesty is appreciated. I spend a ton of time staring at my Northport whenever it's on my wrist. I also have the Neo Tokyo Shirahama like @AshKetchup, and it's a stunner.

Awesome watch!

@Pallet_Fork and I also both have this Mathey-Tissot, which is a pretty solid piece especially considering that it should only set you back just over $100. But the color is definitely much less subtle! https://www.watchcrunch.com/Pallet_Fork/posts/mathey-tissot-limited-edition-243664

I'll have to dig into that brand. New to me.

Oh I like that. Has a Ball watches vibe for a 10th of the cost.

It kinda does, now that you mention it! At 42mm, it wears pretty big on my 6.5" wrist, but you shouldn't have that trouble. In the same aesthetic neighborhood, Islander does the Upper Brookville in purple, which gets you a Miyota 9015 for about twice the price of the Mathey-Tissot. I am sorely tempted by this one.

I am torn when it comes to the whole Brookville lineup. They are such a classic design but I wish they had at least one unique thing. I know it looks very close to the mathey-tissot, but the detail of the second hand counter balance just gives it something. If that makes any sense? 馃ぃ

Makes perfect sense. The M-T counterbalance drives me slightly nuts, tbh, but you're absolutely right about the Brookville needing some little pop of personality of its own!
