99% of the US is safe because nobody is going to take a second look at your watch. It's really only in the places where the rich should rightfully be dined upon that you would have to worry, and only if you look like an easy mark (outside of California and New York, but I refer to the former).
Getting an islander watch is on my list. I got my Marathon GSAR from them and enjoy the youtube vids.
My Omega Deville seems to fit with this based on the vintage omega. I have been dying to get a Mr. Jones watch. So many that I like.
