Back again to continue my SOTC with part 3, where I delve into the mini Timex collection. This is a part of a series Part 1: The Top Ten, Part 2: Casio Boogaloo, Part 4: The Others.
It is with great sadness that I must inform you that I do not have an Expedition North Titanium Automatic. It is the one watch that would complete the case and I admire dearly, feel free to gift at your leisure 😛. Timex is coming back with a vengeance.
Alas, watch stock being what it is I will just have to talk about what I do have. These are ranked in order starting top left. It is what it is.
7. Essex Avenue Thin:
It looks nice and it is thin. Definitely a watch on the chopping block. If they ever do the UFC Pro but without UFC branding, I would probably replace this with one of those.
6. Navi XL:
When I decided to do a mini Timex collection, this was the first one I got. I love the design, specifically the eyelet on the hour hand. My primary beater watch as well.
5. Marlin Timex x Peanuts:
My second pickup from Timex had to be a Marlin. My grandfather growing up was a big Peanuts fan so this was an easy choice.
4. Easy Reader:
It does what it says it does. This is my evening at home watch. Just such a no-frills functional watch. Expansion bracelet, backlight, easy to read; what is not to like? I have an irrational love of expansion bracelets so I seek them out whenever I can, and this is one of the best.
3. Timex Waterbury Legacy:
The first of the how-far-will-you-go-to-purchase Timex watches. I had to have this after seeing it in #wruw with its Tiffany blue goodness. I love wearing this watch. By far the most stealth complimented watch.
2. Q Falcon Eye Reissue:
Just a very pretty watch at a very on trend size. Very fun to photograph and dance under the lighting.
I am in love with GMT watches and specifically Batman colorway GMT watches. This watch is perfection and the chef's kiss of the collection. Was a bit expensive to track down for a Timex but was worth it.
So another one down and one more to go.
✨ End of Part 3 ✨

I've gotten two Timex this year. I hadn't even thought of the brand for years, but the two I have gotten, an Explorer and a Weekender Chrono, are both fantastic casual watches. I am considering the GMT.
Only got one Timex thus far...but its a big one!
Just stumbled across this post. I'm totally with you on that UFC Pro. It's such a cool sports watch design and it's a shame they branded it with a logo I'm not really into.
