State of the Collection 2022, Part 4: The Others

Back again to continue my SOTC with part 4, where the last group of my watches is shown off.  This is a part of a series Part 1: The Top Ten, Part 2: Casio Boogaloo, Part 3: Return of the Timex.

Seiko runs wild in this section, and probably will be for the foreseeable future, but there are some fun classics from Orient, Tissot, and others. Not placed in any particular order.

Seiko 5 Sports GMT SSK003:

Batman bezel, GMT, blue face, red second hand, and it matches my tattoos...yes please!  I love this watch.  Definitely considering getting all the colorways for this model. Such a comfortable bracelet as well.  One of my go to beater watches.

Seiko 5 SNK809K1:

I love Type B flieger watches on this scratches that itch.  Fits well into the smaller watch trend and looks amazing with a NATO strap.

Seiko 5 SRPH29:

Same as above but newer, bigger, and greener.

Marathon Arctic Edition GSAR:

I mostly don't like dive watches or very tooly looking watches but I love this.  I feel like I could dive in the ocean and be a bad ass with this on (although I don't entire the ocean for fear of harpooning by whaling ships).  The tritium lights up beautifully at night for an all year christmas tree effect.

Hamilton Ventura H24301111:

My love of expansion bracelet watches finds its slightly more upscale match with the Ventura.  The I-want-to-be-seen watch when you don't want to take the effort.  Half the time I can't actually tell the time because my brain gets broke from the shape, but worth it for sure.

Swatch Clearly New Gent:

Another clear watch for when I want to actually be able to see my tattoos on my wrist.

Orient Bambino V4:

Wanted a bambino, needed a blue watch, and here we are.  Tends to draw a lot of looks and compliments with the color.

Tissot PRX:

I really love this watch.  Like a lot. So much so that I ended up trading my black automatic PRX for another watch because I was wearing this one over it all of the time.  I love wearing this and don't really mind that it is quartz.  I kinda feel like gold and quartz are the peanut butter jelly of kitschy watches, although this is definitely more elevated in style.

So that's it folks.  Pack up and enjoy the Holidays.
