Watch photography and some funky lighting

I am used to photograph my watches in the dark. So I can control all the lighting. Today I tried to do some shooting with some funky lights everywhere. Hope you will enjoy those fast-made shots and feel free to add yours!

Well, I would repeat myself by this was done with 10 years old Nikon D3100 with 50mm lens using fully manual mode, after that it was edited on my 15 years old laptop with Windows XP using Photoshop 5 from 1998 :-D This computer cannot even connect to web so I must upload everything on USB stick and use different computer :-)

Stunning pictures! Which model is the first Seiko?

Your pics are wonderful! That first one could be used in a Seiko advertisement. Absolutely top-hole. 🤝

Thank you very much. Almost everything looks better than Seiko product photography, it´s like they are not even trying to capture the beauty of their watches. 😀

Thank you, I shot only in manual mode so I have total control of everything. Also I like my shot to be a bit darker.

They are wonderful photos, and the first one could be used in a Seiko advertisement, but depending on the color of the sky that day, their preference for their own lackluster stock photos, or perhaps the opinion of the coffee shop delivery boy, it's anybody's guess what Seiko will do.

Liking all of these photos, esp. #2. Have never heard of that brand.

These are all great my friend, especially the old school little Seiko 5 and the SARX035.*

*Full disclosure: Strong Seiko bias here.
