Of the two watches, I like the design of the Dan Henry more though I admit the Timex has more unique qualities with the bold numeral markers. Having said that, and I know this is just my own small personal quibble, I can’t get over wearing a watch with the name Dan on the dial 😂 … so forced between these options I would select the Timex.
Hi. This was just the dilemma I had before Christmas (buying my own gift from the family). Looked at both as wanted to try a tri register chronograph before buying anything more expensive, say Carrera Glassbox. Also, I don't like overly thick watches. Both of these are amongst the thinnest (non hand wound) on the market that I could find. Bulgari has thin ones, then the Daytona but obviously there's an availability and price considerations.
So went with Timex and I think that it's great. Love the dial, the proportions.
430 date disappears.
Also timex is half the price with discount code which makes it sweeter again.
Honestly, based off of pictures the Dan Henry looks the part more. I just wish the name wasn't on the dial. The Timex is attractive with it's subtle touches and the not so subtle ones like the numerals.
I had the same conundrum and I almost ordered a Dan Henry. Then I thought about the shipping fee and exchange rate and decided against. That Timex is something I have been trying with getting be it on bracelet or strap

I think that's my favourite Timex. I must pick one up sometime.

Both seem awesome but I think the Dan Henry would be a better watch.
Timex is more similar to carrera 😅
I think the Dan Henry has just a touch more refinement.

Quite fond of this Pierre Paulin panda though it's a blatant rip off of the Hamilton Intra-matic Chrono. Chinese ST1901 mechanical chrono movement.
I like the style and the font choice of the Timex. Nice looking watch!
I prefer the Timex.
That's a tough call.
The answer is both.
Prefer Timex, just a bit sharper.
apples and oranges there with big price difference. not much of a comparison.

Dan Henry is far more customizable. Date or no date, bicompax or tricompax.

Faced that dillema and EU availability (shipping, customs)+ the more vintage vibe of the Timex made the choice for me.
Arrived a bit ago, didn't like the original strap but looks great on a racing one
If facing dillema again, would do Timex one more time!
no date window shoehorned inbetween the subregisters on the Dan Henry. So, that wins by default

Now you just make my dilemma list bigger. Haha
I have the timex and it’s very sharp
I recently picked up this Orient. 20 Bar, solar, quartz. I like it a lot.
Option of having no date window on the Dan Henry makes it the clear winner.
