I feel your disappointment. Always a bummer when something finally arrives and it doesn’t live up to expectations. There is a lot of polished surfaces on that combo. I can’t see a way around the scratching, unless you put protective tape on the clasp or buy an alternative clasp. I say you just live with it a bit. It is going to scratch and scuff, but those will be your scratches and scuffs. We won’t judge you for it. 😜 Maybe you could just get them polished out from time to time. 🤷🏻♂️
I have a Ray Raven. I do like it. I upgraded the bezel to a 12hr. The only problem I have with it is the bracelet. It’s a rattler. Normally I’d just upgrade it to a Strapcode, but there aren’t currently any black coated options with fitted solid end links. If I could do it over again, I’d still get an Orient, but I’d go with the regular stainless.
