I might have a problem.

Why is it that I'm so obsessed with 3, 6, 9 and sometimes 12 dials. They take a large proportion of my collection.

A man of great taste.

I'm also kind of obsessed with them, but the closest thing I have to one is my mudmaster. I really like the sinn 556a rs, the Longines hydroconquest, and the planet ocean.

Hope that is part of the reason. Thanks!

The 556A rs has been also in my short list for a very long time too.

Thanks for making research it. I had no idea 20 minutes ago either!

3,6,9 is the best.

·

I absolutely love that dial too, in fact, I am saving your post as reference for future watch pickups 😅.

Amazing collection Mario!

·

I'd like to quote the great poet Lil Jon circa 2003... "3, 6, 9 damn you fine"

·

Great collection, which one do you wear the most?

·

Great collection. But I agree, your collection is glaringly missing a Sinn 556 or 856 😁. If you get the 856 you can get a fully tegimented case and bracelet. Well worth it!

It’s good to know what you like and go for that look, however; in my own collection I try not to hold onto anything redundant. I feel like the Rolex explorer does this look the best, is probably the most comfortable, has the highest level of brand prestige attached, is the highest finished, has the most reliable movment, is the most expensive of the collection, ect.

If I had this line up I feel I’d only ever grab the explorer if I wanted the 3 6 9 look. That’s why I just slimed down my collection from 17 to 6. I might get rid of my omega sea master because if I want a dive watch I can’t really think of a situation I’d put it on instead of my submariner

·

Interesting not familiar with Rolexes is that a Blue Explorer?

That article contains some uh... strange math.

Also a 369 fan :)

I know. Your pictures are in part guilty of me getting the Ranger :D

·

I really like your collection too :)

·

I've done the full journey - originally I was an all batons guy then I was all numerals then 369 and now I'm fixated with 248&10 😀

Well, I started with all numerals 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... 12 😄 then 2, 4, 8... batons and now a middle ground 3, 6, 9, 12...

That is correct. I was making a few pictures and the leafs of the tree made the trick. But that was a good "exploration" of the different possible colors...
