I've been an avid WatchCrunch phantom reader for a while, but hadn't found an important enough reason to go for my first post. Last week, that reason came to be.
I have been actively saving up during the last few years to be able to gift myself my first big swiss watch for my 25th birthday.
Being able to purchase this BEAUTIFUL Tudor Pelagos 39 watch at such a young age was a huge moment for me. I've been obsessed with watches for a very long time and this felt like a very important life milestone achieved.
I will forever remember the moment of showing this new watch to my family for the first time, and how excited (and proud) they were, knowing how much I love watches, that I was able to achieve this.
The size, the material, the weight, the width, the double strap (titanium+rubber), the Tudor snowflake, the red pelagos letters...it's extremely close to a perfect watch for me.
I hope you guys like the watch and mostly the story. I'm curious, which was your first big watch purchase? Do you still own it / wear it as much?

Congrats! Mine was this Aerowatch - I still like it for understated dress.
Congratulation to your achievement. Your Pelagos looks great. My first expensive watch was a pre loved DJ36.
Congrats, that's very cool.
I got my Grail 3 years ago, aged 50. ๐ด๐ป๐คฃ
Welcome to the geek zone friend. Nice piece btw
Great story! Thanks for sharing.
The FF was my first big purchase and I still love itโฆ
Congrats - I can share the feeling with you.
My first "major" watch was actually a gift but it did light the fire.
Congrats! I almost picked up the Pelagos 39 last weekend but ultimately decided to walk cause it was a bit strange that it's so light, I kind of regret my decision. ๐คฃ
My first luxury watch purchase was the speedy reduced, still wear it every week!
First of all, #welcome and congratulations on your first post!
Over a year and a half ago I rocked my first ever luxury watch and took it to Trader Joeโs to take this picture๐ Itโs a Tudor Black Bay Heritage 41mm. I still wear it and swap it with Natos.
Congrats on your Tudor. My first luxury buy was an Omega Constellation. Actually, I'm wearing it right now. Enjoy!
Your title, I just couldnโt help myself. ๐๐๐
Congratulations on your pickup! Itโs a beautiful timepiece!
Congrats, that's very cool.

Love that๐
Congratulations๐คand a truly magnificent watch! ๐
That's a stellar, first Swiss luxury piece! I similarly bought myself an Explorer 36mm, which was a few years into my professional life... I was 28... enjoy it and NEVER trade or sell it that one...
A fantastic watch and in my opinion the only place where snowflake hands look good.
Congrats! Mine was this Aerowatch - I still like it for understated dress.
Never seen one of these before!๐
Thatโs great! Beautiful watch! Iโm more than twice your age and just got my Tudor BB Heritage a few months ago. Donโt be disappointed if no one notices it! As long as it makes you feel good when you wear it. But if youโve been lurking here, you know that already
What an entrance! If this is how you dip your toe in Swiss watchesโฆ then Iโm definitely gonna follow you, cause your A game is gonna be off the charts! Welcome and post more!
Never seen one of these before!๐
They are smaller Swiss Brand - make some quite reasonable pieces at the cheaper end
Congrats m8. Very nice piece. I have a deep rooted (irrational, I know) aversion to metal bracelets; love a good rubber strap though - so think you have created an excellent combo. Looks great.
My first luxury watch (acquired at twice your age :-))
Congratulations, it's a great watch
Congrats! Beautiful Tudor! My first big watch purchase was a Black Bay 58 and its a piece I will never part with ever!
Congratulations the watch is awsome. I got the black bay as my first luxury watch. I wear it multiple times a week. I can not see ever letting it go.
That NWA feeling! Wear it in good health! Also happy birthday !!
Congrats! Wear it in good health
Congrats ๐ฅณ
Congratulations. I recently purchased my first Swiss auto.
Congrats! It's an excellent choice for your first luxury timepiece.
Glad to see that you've put it on the rubber strap. Its bracelet is fantastic (for its class) as well.
I've it for awhile now and I'm sure that your will serve you well in time to come.
Tag Heure F1, was first luxury Swiss watch. Have had for a couple of years. Wear on a regular bases
A smashing debut. Hereโs to wishing you a lifetime of enjoyment!
