What did you think when you saw the WC news channel flooded with 10 nearly identical posts for the white Speedy?

I mean if there is a new release of a watch from a big brand i would assume every watch publication would report on it. Its just that since this site’s news are all about watches, the moment the embargo drops all of the news will be about the moonwatch.

It is a big change for an iconic watch.

Just scroll on by cuz I'm not required to read or respond to every post or comment.

The first post is surprising and I read it and maybe comment on it. The second post helps me maybe gain a different perspective on it but 90% of the information is a repeat from the first post. I stop reading and scrolling from the 3rd post onwards.

Same with YouTube creators talking about it. Sad as it is, such releases are old news by the time the 3rd creator repeats the same facts and voices their opinion on the release.

The news posts are to be expected, and I just skip looking at the news feed. The numerous user posts however... maybe peeps could look and see if there's already an active thread and add to that rather than start another one.

This has reminded me of the reason I let my Speedy go, wall to wall coverage led to me getting bored of it; why bother wearing it when I see it every day? This new one looks nice but I give it a month before I'm bored of seeing it.

My only question is why aren't more people saying how absolutely bonkers nerd level Daniel Craig's pic looks 👀🤏🏻🫣😉😅

Surely I'm not the only person who thought, "Oh, a white Speedy. That's nice. Now on to literally any number of things that actually matter in my life..."

I don't mean to sound cynical or flippant, but that's my actual thought process there. I won't be buying a white Speedy, so I just dismiss it.

Same when Rolex slightly changes a bezel colour calls it a new Subby or whatnot...

Maybe that's just me...
