The Seamaster Poll

Amazing that as 2023 progresses I did get the call for the Green Seamaster 300. Unfortunately, it didn’t workout and I’m still debating and wrapping my head with the seamaster world. So, if you could choose, which one is the ultimate?

Green for me. I nearly pulled the trigger on it myself. Still may do. Need to see it in the flesh.

Why didn't it workout?

Love it!!!

The AD was so kind to save it for me. It still is a limited item here. I was given a call by a GreyDealer and he mentioned he has a brand new for $1K less than retail. I couldn't help but resist.

Yeah, they're still in limited supply here from the AD's.

You can buy directly from Omega at RRP. Yeah, I'd go grey market if you can get it cheaper. As long as it's a reputable dealer.

I may go for it myself once I've seen it in the flesh. But I will also look for the beat deal.

Good luck finding your way out of the Seamaster rabbit hole 🤣

My twin bro has my dad's seamaster from the 50s. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

I tend to think of it less as fauxtina and more as a muted colour palette choice; rather like the BB58 925

·

I voted black because I own one 😅

In my defence, the green wasn’t out when I bought it. My AD offered me the green one recently but I couldn’t justify having both.

·

White dial. Finally saved up enough to get mine around 3 weeks back and I love it. Only problem my other watches are no longer getting a turn on my wrist.

Im biased, but blue. Its 'the' colour for a Seamaster. Blacks a close second due to versatility. I think whites a bit chintzy!

·

I have the black one but I feel like I need the white dial as well…to balance the collection 😂🍻

·

I'm very particular about white dial watches and very few models do it right. The Seamaster 300 is one of the best white dials out there and has always will be my choice when I purchase one in the future.

But I wouldn't mind the green too. It is beautiful in person.

·

Blue all the way - an update to the classic blue wave dial.

·

I prefer The White one but they are all amazing

·

Really need to see each one on wrist, right after each other.

I remember doing that once with Rado Captain cook divers.

Similar large variety of color options. But trying in one after the next - I could instantly see what looked best.

Of course harder to do for an SM300 but the AD might have a few at same the time and indulge you for a possible sale.

BTW - which GS dealer here in SG had the Kodo? - I want to pop by and see if it’s still there!

I did that yesterday. Unfortunately, the blue one was the one that my eye loved most. Next was white and then black and then green.

You making me change my mind

Lol. Good thing with the black or white dial you can make them work with any colour outfit and both great for changing strap options, loads of nato colours work. I'm just going on a 4 day trip to Poland and would usually take 2 or 3 watches but not even going to bother, just take the seamaster.

I voted for the blue as well but man that is a sharp color combo

·

Just not a fan of that dial design. Never have been, It's time they change it. It's not traditional and it's long in the tooth. This is just my opinion. I like many other OMEGA's. Just not this particular dial design..

But that dream is FAR too expensive for me...

And I don't want a mechanic watch, anyhow.

I have all of those but I do like the green one ..

·

I've seen the green in person and it's nice obviously but I really like green so would have loved if it was a brighter green. It seems most of the time it's black. When I had the green and white dial side by side my eyes gravitated towards the white dial.

I have black one with Omega Bond nato straps but the white looks great!

But NTTD should be on your list too

·

That green is apparently phenomenal! Almost looks black in certain lighting.
