Shopping for a GMT

Been meaning to get a GMT and I’ve narrowed it down to these 3, leaning more towards the Nodus and Seiko 5. Any GMTs y’all know of that are below $500 that I should look at?

I am enjoying my Nodus GMT! Good bang for buck. Big bonus they regulate the movements.

New Seiko field GMT. Not sure about the pricing but I’m sure it'll be close to your budget

·

It’s even called “gmt master II”. For a third of the price!

·

Interesting - those are two very different designs! Could you tell us a little bit more of why you have narrowed it down to these two? At a glance they don't appear to share a whole lot apart from price.

·

If you can up your budget to $720, you may like the #traskaventurer. It's a "flyer" #gmt with classic good looks with a virtually #scratchresistantcase.

Lets hope so. Last several releases from the mighty Seiko have been a tad, or dare is say waaaay, over priced..YMMV of course.

For Nodus I really like the numerals on the dial, the stubby GMT hand, the date window at 6, and how the dial looks submerged into the case.

For Seiko it’d be my first watch from them, I really like the pepsi ring in the dial really pops against the charcoal gray, and I like the bezel as well.

This is really nice! Really loving the white dial version love the teal GMT hand, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for it.

Glycine Airman - an odd choice but a darn cool watch with tons of history. 👍

@Voltron That Nezumi is really nice, and the price is a little crazy, especially if ordered on strap 😳. Do you have any experience with the brand?

·

I only tried it on vacation in Portugal. Looked and felt great on my 6.75in wrist. I spent my budget by then and couldn't buy there

I missed the recent restock since online. I'm like the guy in that new/same girlfriend meme 😅

I have one blue on blue rubber. Gorgeous dial with that GMT hand. Good lume. Fun look. Wears well. It’s on its way to watchexchange ONLY to cover some of the spend on my Alpinist GMT. I will regret it, I’m sure.

Thanks gents! Much appreciated for the feedback. I guess that makes, like, 17 watches on my "to-do" list now 😆

Easy. Seiko SSK GMT. Thank me later!
