I've had my father's champagne-dial gold Seiko in a drawer for 30 years. Last December she got a battery and a lizard band. Runs great now! I picked up a Casio Duro, a Fossil chrono, a couple of delicious cheapies from Jomashop, some refurbs from ebay. And just like that I've a new obsession!

Hardware is a bit bulky for my taste. I like blushark sharkfin straps. I prefer polished over brushed steel but those are usually out of stock. I wish I knew of a nato strap company that alwayd had polished steel, gold, and 20mm options in stock.
