If you can get it where you are, I also recommend the Alba Gelato series. Alba is a brand under Seiko, mainly targeting the market under Seiko current prices.

Seiko Silver Wave has plenty of great quartz watches if you don’t mind shopping for vintage or used watches.
I do actually. Good way to make friends. Just gotta have some thick skin in case people look at you weird 😂
Take the Certina. The other three might attract unwanted attention from thieves. Plus it’s a great all day watch

I don't hate apple watch personally. I think it's more of an additional gadget, an extension of your phone, and less of a digital watch. It shows your emails, notifications etc etc.
For me personally I don't like things that I need to charge. I already have my phone and laptop that I need to remember charging, not to mention my bluetooth earphones (curse modern phones with no headphone jack) and Steam Deck for my gaming on the go, I don't want another thing I need to worry about charging.
