DONE: Got My Lady a Field Watch

I took into consideration as well, the main lesson shared by other WCers when giving a watch to your wife/GF/partner: "let your partner have a say in the choice, as they will definitely have their own style preferences and criteria." I definitely didn't want to fall into the same mud hole.
So, I seriously considered the sentiments my lady had about watch size, and diligently pieced together her preferred styles. I then took all your suggestions, did a little more digging into a few more ladies watches, and finally came up with a shortlist of 7-8 watches in total.
Then, I actually gave my lady the chance to decide. As she reviewed the shortlist, 3 time pieces quickly stood out. Of those 3, this one really caught her attention...

My lady really prefers and loves wearing a small watch. She loved the Seiko SYMD93 I gave her last Christmas...
...and she really likes her petite Timex Tank.
So, shortlisting the Timex Expedition Mini was a no-brainer. Plus, she liked its olive green dial, and the orange seconds hand. She appreciates the Indiglo too, as it will surely help her while spelunking.
The leather-nylon combo strap is surprisingly comfortable, but needs a slight break-in to be sure. Hopefully it'll do well both while she works and while hiking. I've started to search though, for some 12mm nylon or silicone straps so she can change it out if she wants. Of course, like before, I'd greatly appreciate any of your recommendations for this, or simply point me in the right direction. 🤝 Update: She doesn't like silicone straps as she finds them too warm to wear on her wrist. So scratch that idea. 😜
That's it, friends. This diminutive Timex Expedition Field Mini is my Christmas gift for my lady. I can't wait to give it to her tomorrow. 😍 I will update this post once I get a shot of her wearing it. 😉

I am pleasantly surprised by this choice. I was expecting something more ungainly. I especially like the olive dial and that band.

I had a similar Expedition once and gave it to my son. I would get another if anything ever happened to my Columbia. Great choice.

Heed the advice of others though, before quickly pulling the trigger in getting yourselves the Tank. Always best to give her options to choose from. 😉

Ok well I couldn't get it from Timex site as they are out of stock, but found it on a local distributor site and have ordered the very same piece for next day delivery with FedEx, and our Royal mail are currently on strike. Thanks for the inspiration. @hakki501

She loves it, using it as everyday GADA type watch and do it's getting alot of wrist time.

My girlfriend loves it so much too, and also wears it everyday. Funny, I forgot to tell her about its Indiglo. So when I showed it another time, she said, "What! It has Indiglo! You didn't give me a proper orientation! Hahaha.." So, she was happy it had it, because at first, while in the dark, she felt sad she couldn't see the time.

The goal is to add variety to the watchbox...style, color, brand etc...I think my wife's actually hits the mark a bit better...but I'll get there
