Great two watches! I’d do 1 or 7. A simple do it all field/Flieger would compliment your diver and driver well.

Given that you already have an excellent diver and a chrono, I would go with 5 or 10, and then look for an interesting dress watch.

If this post still exists in 34 years time it would be great to see how far or close you are to your goal. My tastes have changed so significantly since I started this hobby that my coveted watches 10 years ago do not even make my top 25 today.

Young man you have lots of time ahead of you. You might get on a Waitlist now at a Rolex AD and they might call you back when you turn 60. My pick would is the AT.

I’d suggest trying on some watches. For instance, the seamaster 300M NTTD wears smaller than the green. I had the choice of both in the shop, and bought the NTTD. I think the IWC ingenuer would bring something very different to your collection. I’d look at vintage. A vintage Omega seamaster can be picked up very cheaply. Perhaps a zenith, that powered the Rolex Daytona for 12 years. Maybe look for a 79s watch, 80s quartz watch, 90s Tag Huer, 00s watch etc for a diffent angle. If I had to make a comment on your excellent list, it’s very what watches are great today. Let me give you another example. Look at the speedmaster or seamaster Tokyo olympics versions. Watches developed for an olympics that’s didn’t occur in 2020 due to covid, but are stamped up with 2020. 30 years from now, you have a collectible watch with a story. Adds an extra level of interest. I like the fact you got your speedy in Japan for instance. Marks the occasion. Good luck, and enjoy your journey.

I Would say continue to take your time. Seems many have said (myself included) there is a very rapid "acquisition phase" when first entering the collecting habit and I wish I had been more thoughtful and patient as my tastes and interests changed. Good luck, glad to have you aboard the WC!

Explorer is classic and good choice along with the MK 20 both lovely watches great watches in the top 7

I find Tudor worthy but dull and far too slabsided again good watches but I’ve not enjoyed owning them after a few weeks but that’s just personal preference
