I bought one when they were first introduced because I liked the feature of different "dial" options. I never used it for anything other than to tell time. (usually with the Mickey Mouse dial) So in my case it was a watch. Sure it has other functions but I never used them. Other watches also have non time keeping functions (altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer) and they're still considered to be watches.

Question 1-Probably not. There are already too many out there.

Question 2-Slim and none

Question 3-A broad background in business, good lawyers , financial advisers and money. lots and lots of money.

I mind my business in public settings.

I've been on various watch fora for many years and, to date, this is the only one that has such a loose interpretation of what is fake. I suppose I'm old school and have much less tolerance for fakes than most here but I'm not about to change and will call them out when I see them. I feel that, as a long time enthusiast , I have every right to- despite what the younger modders say. If my opinions on fakes irk some to the point that they feel the need to report me then so be it. But whatever your reason, rationalization, or whatever else makes you feel comfortable making a watch with the OEM logo that is NOT made by the OEM you are still making a fake. Even if you made it for yourself. And simply saying that it's not real doesn't make it real. Maybe the powers that be here should make clear what is, or isn't a fake since fake/counterfeit is one of the reasons listed when a post is reported.

Good work but you really need to lose the OEM logo on an individually built watch. Replace Seiko (which it certainly is not) with your own logo design and all is well.

Otherwise you are building a fake. It matters not that these dials are available from Chinese sites, It doesn't make it right.

With the skills of many "builders" it can't be a big deal to alter the logo from the OEM to something else.
