I voted Datejust, a bit biased as I own one! I must add I am not wealthy, just an average Joe. It took me a fair few years to save for, putting a small amount each week. My shame is that I do not wear it often as its a bit posh for me, but I do wear it for special occasions.

This saddens me to read. You worked your butt off for that watch. Wear it proudly!!!

To be honest I really like the Explorer but not having a date complication spoils it for me because that is the one thing I really want on a watch so I would have to go for the sub with the date complication
For me the Explorer is the quintessential Rolex. Well designed, easy to read, built like a tank and suitable for a wide range of settings. It can go from a weekend casual outfit to a suit without a problem.
Definitely none of the survey choices. I like the OP and Milgauss.
I've historically been mostly anti-Rolex from a design perspective. I do really like some models but the popular ones look stale or too traditional, or they have an association with stereotypes that I like to distance myself from.
Around 2015ish I started to take notice of the OP and Milgauss. I felt like the design of those models was simple and clean. They seemed like solid, tough as nails watches that could be functional in the ocean, the office, or a work environment. The screw down crown and water resistance as well as overall build quality really appealed to me.
...then I realized it was near impossible to buy one new, used ones were MORE expensive, and I completely lost interest in the brand again.
Given unlimited $$ I'd go with a different brand altogether. I find that the more money I have, the less tolerant I am of playing games in order to buy an item that's in high demand. Instead of paying additional mark-up or befriending the AD, I prefer to walk away.
If I had limited funds (as I do now) and was offered a new OP at retail price or a used one at discount I'd likely be the owner of a OP or Milgauss. We all know that's fantasy though, and why I'm wearing an Omega instead.

1655 please.
Skydweller, but in 36-38mm at most.

On that list Non of them I’ve had all the above.
I would love to own the New Rolex Yacht Master.
Of those choices, the Daytona. My favorite isn't an option in this survey.
I agree, these poll choices are not all encompassing. I was given the ability to provide 4 answers.
GMT BLRO or BLNR.

Wear it with pride! You EARNED that watch!
I had two major life events last year that I always said if I reached them I would buy a Datejust. I did, and I did. So, like @weedge, I voted DJ.
If I were to buy a Rolex, it would be a green Milgauss

I will try and wear it more !
GMT-Master II
GMT Master II, every single flavor is god-tier. Then the Skydweller.

A 36mm, yellow gold, champagne dial Day-Date.
YachtM 37mm! 🧐😁
Yes, god forbid we engage in some idle chit chat about watches on a watch forum...
I would get an OP in blue white or black 36mm on the Jubilee if I could pick an Explorer style 369 dial I have seen in blue and silver at a pinch .
This is number one for me .

Hear ya
1908 for me
This is my “ 1908” pick personally . I agree I like it too but…..
None ( i know, i have date just and explorer), but its stilll BLRO for me
I guess I'm a weirdo because I like Breitling. Rolex doesn't do it for me.
We wouldn't have let you in if you weren't. 🙄
Rhodium dial yachtmastwr all day
Skydweller please.
Price wasn’t an obstacle? I’d search for a NOS 1016. Or as close as I could get.
