they're durable
they have a multitude of options to choose from
(mostly) great specs.
Regarding the use of the word 'Cheap', which I feel can be misleading: They're not unreasonably priced. I wouldn't call them cheap per se, I'd say they're affordable. You get what you pay for, and some more. Also, the difference in purchasing parity between the US and the East could explain why Casios 'feel' cheaper in the US. The watches cost roughly the same in both markets, but a 5600 in India would be much more dearer than in the US.
And just because manufacturing costs are low does not necessarily mean that low-grade materials have been used to build the watch.
