Doxa Price Increase Hit This Morning

I've had my eye on a Doxa recently and noticed a $100 USD price increase on the Sub 200. And it appears at least several other models went up $100, as...

It's an amazing tool watch. Properly spec'd and built for its intended purpose. I really wish they'd offer it without the snowflake hand so I could buy one.

We're supposed to own a chronograph?

They're amazing feats of engineering. They're often beautiful. In some cases they're quite useful.

But if you don't have a specific need, they're also expensive to buy, expensive to service, comparatively delicate, and generally less water resistant. Oh, and big.

I keep telling myself to buy a Zodiac Sea Chron, but then I realize I'd be buying it just to have a chronograph.

Ummmmmm, I do have a G-Shock. 😄

Between A & B.

I can force a pinky under it without any drama, but it's not leaving marks on my wrist.

I'm generally a GS fanboy, but I'm voting Longines in this case.

It seems like a more elegant presentation overall.

It's my eyes. Reading glasses are part of life now.

These may be a toss-up if price is close enough.

But...the Longines will be more versatile as the Oris has an essentially integrated bracelet. So strap options will be more limited.

I'm a fanboy of both brands, and I own a watch from both brands..........

.......in this case I prefer the appearance of the Aqua Terra.
