As others have stated before, this does not just apply to microbrands. Many big brands are the same. There are very few that actually make >90% of their watches themselves (e.g. Nomos, Seiko).
I‘d say they‘re different enough. But I would definitely go for the green dial Conquest. I know you liked the green dial AT as well but it wasn’t available in 38 mm when you got yours. So I say go for it if you like it in the metal.
The Santos is the basic mainstream choice (not that there‘s anything wrong with that) and the GS is probably more of an enthusiast‘s pick. Can’t go wrong either way.
My choice would be the Santos because I love bracelets, but not without micro adjust
