I bought a Seiko 5 “Sea Urchin” from Creation a few years back and the crown and stem came clean out of the watch after about a month of having it. Sent into Seiko UK and it was fixed under warranty with no issues (Took about 6 weeks)
I’ve not got any experience of Avi-8 but they look nice in photos. Watchnation have the SNK809 at 129 with an extra 10% off at the minute. Seiko 5s are great watches, I bought a Sea Urchin (SNZF17J1) and it still runs like a champ for my son who has it now. Good hunting mate 😁
No worries mate, wait for a sale or a 10% off code in the UK and they’d be about the same price and less hassle
