First Post

Hey everyone, new to the platform but I’ve been lurking for a few weeks 😂. These are my two Oris. I’ve had a few Seikos, Casios and Citizens along the way but last year the last ones went and I got these two. I miss some of them but I found too much choice in the watch box was weirdly stressful, anyone else?

That second Oris is absolutely awesome looking.  Great choice!

The tropical brown Diver 65 never appealed to me in pictures, but then I saw it in person and fell in love with that color way. Very nice.

·

love your oris diver sixty five 🍺

Welcome!

Oris is a great brand and make som great watches.

I might have too many watches for some, but i have a rotation, so if i stop wearing a watch in that rotasjon i sell it.

I went into the store to look at a black or blue dial one but couldn’t stop looking at the one I have now and I was the same the pictures didn’t do it for me

Welcome 👋

I don't have endless watches but with the few I have I am conscious of wanting to give them all wrist time. Life would be simpler with two, I agree. 👍

I had about 9 at one point and had choice paralysis most days, I think I “need” a non diver choice to make it three but I don’t crave a bigger collection anymore

I'm a big fan of the Oris divers - are they the 36mm versions? How do you find the thickness, that is the only things I'm dubious about. I can't remember what it is of the top of my head but seem to remember reading they were quite thick.

Hi mate, this is the 40mm and no it’s not thick for me land it wears nicely

I have 8 "serious" watches (Seiko, Citizen, Orient, Vostok, mostly divers) plus G-Shocks and Casios. It way too many, and too many is too much. I'd love to scale down and have only 2: one automatic and one quartz. I just can't bring myself to selling all or most of my watches...

Yeah it was painful to sell some for sure and to resist the temptation to buy all the gshocks I can 😂

Love that Diver 65! Here‘s another color variation! the bronze center links gave me green skin though…

Both Orises, Orisii....I don't know, are absolute stunners. Welcome to the group. I have way too many watches and so many choices, but I don't find it stressful. On the contrary, picking one is a relaxing moment for me. And don't worry, I haven't found a dick among us. Wait, that came out wrong. We're not assholes here. There, that's better. Again, welcome!

·

I, like many others, also suffer from too many watches! It isn't too stressful as I try my best to set special days of the week to wear certain watches, however, I tend to agree I have too many and they don't get worn enough.

I love both your Oris (Orisi?) but that second one is absolutely stunning!

Welcome!

love this one too mate, The links do that to me when it’s warm so I swap it out to a tropic rubber strap or NATO when the weather warms up enough (it’s only a couple of weeks in the UK typically though 😂)

Thanks mate, each person is different I guess but I’m way more at ease with less watches. Thanks for the welcome 👍

Cheers mate it may be that I’m not organised enough to cope with too many options 😂

Great looking watches, love the ombré finish on the brown dial. I have a diver with a blue gradient that I like a lot. Thanks for posting.
