my wife bought a Raymond Weil Tango (quartz) for me when we got engaged (early 2000s). I dont wear it anymore, but I still love it and keep it because it reminds me of what things were like when a $500 watch purchase was A LOT. So, I say that to say: I think you’ll love whatever you choose - not because of the watch or specs, but because of what it’ll come to symbolize over time.
I have a Bond Seamaster GMT that I love… and I would sell it immediately for something like your mock-up. Not sure if it’ll happen.
So, I have both a Seamaster 57 Trilogy, and a Seamaster MP (GMT). Not really the same watch, but kinda kissing cousins…, I think
