Are there any watches you’re so into, you’ve multiples of?

There’s something about the Porsche Design Orfinas that just really works for me. Good size, clean design, aggressive but understated. I ended up with three variations and enjoy them all. Any watches out there you’ve bought more than once? Why?

I had two matching Seiko 6139's at one point.  I bought one because it matched one my cars build month and year, and then a deal popped up on another one.  Both are gone now.  I have 4 "SKX" type watches right now.  Gen 1 monster, 009, 7002, and a gmt.

On a side note, I have a PD look Lejour.  I would love to ad a legit PD at some point.

Those Porsche Design watches are killer. I don't have one, but I do have a Sinn 144, which has always reminded me of the PD.

I do have multiple Omega Speedmasters, but they are all considerably different.

Although I currently only have 1 Santos De Cartier, I'd be very willing to add an additional dial variant if I could pick one up for the right price.

I do have two automatic Tissot PRX's. One green one and a black one. They are just so good, I couldn't resist!

Can't have enough Speedmasters! Especially when they are different variations. I've had four in total, but am back down to one currently.

Ha, that's great about the "SKX" type watches. I could see getting variations on that as well.

Yes and no. I had a phase of buying multiple sizes of Tag 2000, 3000, F1 etc…

I also have a type when it comes to default vintage, so I have multiples with the same case, age, style, dial, movement…

It’s not normal, I will correct course.

I have been thinking of the dan henry black pvd chrono to try out the form factor. I def like the worn out look of the pvd case. Lovely collection there zach. Been a fan of your podcast for a few years now.

Not at the same time, but I’ve owned different versions of the same watch.

makes sense. That's like getting your favorite shoes in two colors. Can't go wrong

I love the Seiko Prospex Alpinist series and have a couple of models:  SBDC091 Limited Edition and the SPB249J1 Deep Lake.  Very similar in specs, movement, but the finishing on these are amazing for the price point.  These two helped me jump back into a smaller size dial (38mm) from my recent trend of going larger in dial size.  These are more like cousins to each other, rather than a pair, but same Seiko DNA.  Love them both!

to start…why? I I’m nuts there’s really no reason I just like the colors but I never really had the exact same watch though…it’s the same watch technically but varies by color…

side note… you might have reviewed Boldr watches I‘m currently looking into them any advice on them?

nice looking Tissot!

I’m curious, given your love for the design, what are your thoughts on the Dan Henry homage?

I am a big fan of CW watches. They seem to multiply like rabbits!

Seiko 5 (snkk 25 & 27)

I have 3 similarly Alba watches, 4 similar styled dress watches

I had these two Seiko King Quartzs at the same time, though the blue 4823 was meant as a replacement for the silver 4821. It took a while to sell the 4821 though, so I had them at the same time for quite a while. That was, ironically, long enough to want to sell both! I still have a pair of old Seikos, but they have different case designs that (critically) offer nicely integrated factory bracelets. I think with vintage watches like this, having the option of a bracelet goes a long way to making them more versatile and therefore more likely to stay in the collection.

Your speedy collection is killer! At least their noticeably different.  Can't say the same about the Porsche design though. They aren't different enough for my taste but to each their own.

I love these old Nivada Chronomasters.

Old Tudor Subs are fun too.

Both of these multiple sets are somewhat diminished at this time as I sold one out of each group.

Insanity, in a good way (for me anyway), love it.

Is that an old '57 on the bottom right?

·

Not sure if it counts, and it's nothing impressive compared to everything else shared in this thread (I am very surprised, not sure why however haha). I got a few simple 3 hander Swatches. I feel like they are made so you have more than 1.

The white dial on the bottom right is the Speedmaster Broad Arrow, Reference # 3551.20.00. The black dial model on the top right is the 2013 vintage Speedmaster 57, Reference # 331.10.42.51.01.001

Other include the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (3861 sapphore sandwich), Skywalker X-33 and Speedmaster Racing.

I see! I didn't see the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position for the broad arrow, so I thought it was the titanium Speedmaster '57 (and looking at it now quite a few other differences exist between both like the indices colors and bracelet). The 331.10.42.51.01.001 is the '57 I was thinking about with the 16mm thickness. I tried on a few and I am still undecided due to my 16cm wrists, but I love the look of it. Looks like it fits well on you!

The Speedmaster 57 from 2013 is indeed a large watch. It's not so much the diameter as it is the height (over 16mm) and the lug-to-lug (approx 54mm).  FWIW, my wrists are 17cm (6.75"), and it certainly wears big on me, especially on bracelet. Great watch, but I wish it were just a tiny bit smaller.

SARB033 and SARB035; SKX007 and SKX009.

G-Shocks: I have dozens.  Whenever it’s time to take off a nicer watch and get dirty or physical, I want a G-Shock right there...and if one isn’t handy, I obviously need another!   Early in my journey I was more naive and quite susceptible to youtube influence.  Consequently, I acquired several SKXs and Hamilton Khakis that I now rarely wear.  First-world problem, I know.
