Chronograph for under 3000$
My watch collection is missing a mechanical chronograph and I want to spend around 2000$. I would buy either racing or pilot watch, but I'm open to suggestions.
I already found a few options, but if you have some other chrono watches in that price range, please write in the comments.

You're right, I always mix those two
For a couple other options to consider, Aristo has a nice looking chronograph with a Valjoux 7750, and Le Jour has the Le Mans with a Sellita SW500. The ice blue Le Mans looks pretty nice.
Chose the Hamilton but I think I'd prefer the Longines Big Eye or a Maen Skymaster to any of these.
Here are some Chronographs (not Chronometer...don't worry, happend to all of us ). The attached pictures are in the same line as listed.
Watches for around or less than 2K
There is only one watch that scratches the 3K limit, but I wanted to recommend to you anyway because of the actuall historical vallue.
It's is the actually Navitimer known from Breitling. Once Breitling get in financial trouble in the 80's and needed some extra cash, SINN bought the licence for the Navitimer. In old models they even used their parts where "Breitling" were written on. So this model is not a Navitimer ripp off or "homage". It is the real Navitimer but for a fraction of a price.If you like this style and 3K doesn't hurt you, that should be your next in my opinion.

Another idea if you want to go the more sporty way:
CERTINA DS EAGLE
It seem Certina discontinued this line but it is still available at some retailers for high discount. It has a kind of RM vibes. In Germany ut is offered for around 800. But the case seems to be quite big.
So many great options, but I am a big fan of what Farer is doing.

There's about 40 various models from Longines to choose from (if you include recent and neo-vintage discontinued models).
The BigEye (biased).
The new record chronometer chronograph.
Spirit chronographs might be a touch above 3000, but close.
Frankly can't go wrong with a Longines.
Of the choices provided in your poll, the Hamilton would be my pick.
I like most of the watches on your list (esp. the Hamilton) but at this price point, I would get the Hanhart chrono that Steve McQueen wore. It’s just under $2k.

Agree. Longines was the first brand I thought of. And big eye would be my first choice in the brand. Either the black in steel or blue in titanium.
alternative more in line with the damasco is the Sinn 356 / 358.

You forgot the nicest one of the bunch: the Certina DS Chronograph, got this one this year as birthday present. And for less money even but with Valjoux: I live in Spain where Festina is quite a big brand and Festina lauched a "homage" to IWC Pilot chrono. The Festina F20150 for about 1200€. Just some suggestions.
Zelos makes one for $1799, looks good, ETA movement.
