You are 100% right, but let's help him out with a photo.

The bezel rotates. You align it with the hour hand when using the stopwatch and you can keep track of cumulative hours too. The minute counter only goes to 30 minutes but the red hash mark aligned with the hour hand means you can time 12 hours. Smart. More chronographs should be set up like this.

Sold my Khaki King solely because the lack AR. Loved the watch. Only realized how bad it was after getting other watches with primo AR.

I went to the Richard Mille store when I was in Las Vegas about a year ago. They had one watch in stock with a "not for sale" sign on it, and 4 staff standing around with nothing to sell. Though it was pretty neat to see my first "in person" Richard Mille. Watches are weird sometimes.

I don't have one, but I've had my eyes on this Aevig for a while now:

I've spent a bunch of hours looking for a hand wound with a date that didn't cost as much as an Oris. Has something that looked so much like nothing ever looked so good? Oris:

I'm not buying anymore watches. I swear. But I will buy one more if it's a hand wound.

commented on Anyone bought from Barton watch bands before? ·

yeah, I've ordered a bunch over the years. I really like the straps but Barton was a pain to deal with. Actually, they always made things right, but I ordered direct 3 times and every time it was an issue. Wrong bands sent. Web page said it was in stock, it didn't arrive, and emails to them suggested they didn't know when they would have more. Wrong size sent. Every time I ordered there was a problem. In their defense, they fixed the problem by either sending the right straps (never asked for the wrong ones back) or refunded my money without question.

But when ordering from Amazon, always quick delivery, always the right strap. Same price.

I've only bought the Elite Silicone straps. Good colours (other than the blue which was a bit too purple for my liking) and nicely made. Super comfy. Great straps. Great when bought through Amazon. Direct from Barton? If they don't screw up the order, you'll be waiting for it.

I still have a Barton strap on one watch. I've switched to FKM rubber on the others. FKM is nicer. Barton is nice enough. And I like that they come with the short and long strap options. I need longer than average.
