The unknown tudor

It wasn't until I watched Britt Pearce's tudor ranking video that I first heard of the "glamour" line. Pretty nice looking pieces that seem to cater more for women, their largest size is 36mm. Sometimes you think you're a fan boy but there may be watches you've never even knew they existed.

If only they did it in 38 or 39....

·

At 36mm I would wear that.

If you go to the Tudor website the number of models and variations approach Omega. Well probably not quite that many. Anyway when I go to my AD, they never have those on display, Glamour, Glamour Day Date, 1926, Clair de Rose, Royal. The display case is all Black Bay, Pelagos, maybe a Ranger.

My sister-in-law has one. Definitely a nice watch!

Tudor is due in to update all these less tool-ey watches. Then again, I’m not exactly going to buy one so I can’t really blame them if they abandon the lines and focus on BBs and Pelagos forever.

I teased the idea of a Glamour 42 a few months back. In the end I couldn't jive with the case thickness (14+). Had they made it a sub-12mm watch I think it would have been a done deal.

Did Britt say why they are so unknown? 😕

I would love to see that in person

Try the Tudor Glamour Double Date. Great looking watch, chronometer, in house movement

And a lovely dial. Better on leather strap rather than bracelet.

Really like my two-tone Glamour Date 36. But I’m hoping to get a DJ 16233 someday, so this one’s being sold. 😢
