This is great inspiration for me. I love seeing how others run their set up for working on their watches. Right now I need to figure out my lighting/lamp situation. Then also my storage situation.
What do you prefer to use as your storage solution for straps, bracelets, misc parts, tools, etc.?
I am most envious of the set up. I'm in the middle of a major redo of my Office/Workroom/Indoor Garage. Very nice builds, nice taste in designs. I'm a novice builder myself.
I would make a small addition to your workstation, which looks great, btw. When you do not need to use the microscope, your work surface it too low and you will develop neck problems if you spend a lot of time there. A cheap way to resolve this is to buy a monitor stand with adjustable legs ($13 on Amazon). On top of it put a 12" X 24" porcelain floor tile (about $10 at Home Depot), wrapped in an old light color t-shirt (free). The tile is heavy enough to provide stability and long enough to allow your elbows to rest for hand stability. The t-shirt is there to prevent small parts to roll away, as they get stuck in the material. I found this very useful and my neck is not hurting.

That’s pretty cool. I’ve actually moved the monitor several time to get it here. I find I don’t have to ok up as far which for me saves on the neck from looking up then down.

You're going to make some masterpieces right there, I see it coming. Put in some good work
Man, I just work on the kitchen table after clearing enough space, I'm super jealous!
Whoa! That's incredible!! I'm just thinking of dipping my toes in the Seiko watch build world - you're full-on!
Have one

It’s expensive and one thing leads to the next all costing money. Here is a few of my builds and for sale watches.

This is awesome !
Looks like a pro station, I guess you have spent quite a bit of money on tools. So I guess watch building is more a passion than a hobby.
What kind of microscope have you got? I'm currently in the market for one so trying to get suggestions and opinions.
The setup looks great!
Nice set up! I need something like that but there'd be cats all over it! 😸
I am jealous. My build station is a plastic tub on the living room table. It's a wonderful hobby though.

hey @stevey2023 which model of Hayear microscope are you using there please?
No real mod number. Comes with a .5 Barlow lens
Be prepared to have to make modifications to make it work but then it’s fine
