I love my phone, don't get me wrong, but I don't like being compelled to look at my "black mirror" for every little thing. I want my wrist watch to have outstanding accuracy, so I don't feel the need to look at my phone, and subsequently feel obligated to check my notifications. I removed all social media from my phone too. I hate being reachable by strangers all the time.
If I can't regulate a watch to stay within a minute per month, or if the speed drifts +/- several seconds during a single reading, I'll sell it or return it, because it's not doing its job.
I own two Precisionists because I love the fact that I only have to set them once after a short month to jump the date up to the 1st. I just set the seconds hand to time.gov on that day, and I don't have to worry about them again for up to two more months, and I can be confident that they're dead-on.
My wife doesn't care about watches at all. When she saw my little obsession emerging, she said, "Why don't you just take my Samsung Galaxy Watch?"
We stayed married, but it was touch and go for a minute.
Thanks! The case of a Submariner, with a Seamaster dial, and the hands of a Black Bay. It's actually running on a Citizen movement. I like to mod watches. None of the parts are from genuine Rolex, Omega, or Tutor watches. Just different parts I bought online. The Citizen movement is a real Miyota though. 😂
The first time I saw this, I truly thought you were wearing a piece of paper that you drew on. Unreal. I think I even laugh-reacted it, because I thought you were just being silly. Jokes on me. That thing is rad.
