I'm perhaps one of the lucky few who received most of my best watches, including my first "collectible" one from my better half. There are a few though that we both wear like this Hamilton Ventura.

No, but my almost 2 year old son reached for my yellow Gshock this morning so I just put it on his wrist. Forgot about it and went to work. Turns out he left it on all day and even wore it to his doctors visit lol

My wife's first watch was a Timex and she loves NATO straps. So when I started my collection I bought her a Timex and a varied collection of straps which she changes more often than I change watches. As she sometimes wakes up not knowing whether it's in the morning or evening (especially now in winter, when it's dark in both cases), I might get her the new Marlin Jet... and borrow it from her in order to scratch the Glassbox/sector dial itch.

That's how it started, now she's got her own collection and is learning about modding and basic Watchmaking .

No, because she prefers a case size of 24-28mm size. My smallest watches are 36mm.

No, she isn't interested in watches at all. Besides, my wrist is 19,5cm, her's is 11...😄

My wife barely accepts that I have these watches, let alone wants to borrow them. I even offer her to wear a nice one when we go out and she says "nah" 🙄

My wife is really digging the Apple Watch so there’s no way she’ll develop an appreciation for my watches. But I won’t let that stop me either. 😀

As the owner of a bunch of ~37mm watches I'm theoretically good with it... But I've seen how she treats her Timex. She can go jump in a lake if she thinks she's getting the keys to the watch box.

Seriously though, she has expressed an interest in a specific luxury watch so I may indulge that and see how much damage is wrought...

This timely. Having a vintage watch with a smaller case size, yeah she uses it more than me recently.

The 16 y.o. snagged my Tiffany blue dialed Casio. The wifey grabbed my vintage Doxa, the 18 yo commandeered my Seiko field watch and went to college with it. Thieves, all of them😫😂

No but I wish she would. I had a 39m steel chronograph that looked astounding on my wife but she never wants to wear watches.

Absolutely! My wife just returned from a business trip and wore my Longines Spirit 40mm Titanium. She loves it. She wears my gold Panerai Radiomir all the time.

I wish my other half could pull of my watches, so we can share our watches 😀. I buy her own watches as she likes smaller watch.

Really nice watch my friend was my choice,she had never thought or wore a watch before hand,should have been a red flag but I let it slide 🙄😂she loves it just not the bracelet pops open all the time.

No because she is a klutz god bless her but tends to bang her watch on stuff all the time . So nooooooo.

Thankfully, my wife doesn’t really like anything bigger than about 30-32mm on her wrist. So, all of my 38-42mm watches are a no go for her.
