ever since the release of this watch last year I've seen countless posts, videos, and reviews about it popping up everywhere I go. Finally one day lat...
great collection. I tend to like watches with a bezel, so the watch face gotta be much smaller than the case diameter. So in turn lots of divers and not a lot of fliegers.
Doesn’t have that “pop” or “wow” factor when looking at it afar or in a quick glance, which is exactly my cup of tea, and making it the perfect tool/everyday watch.
had the black dial version for a while. loved, LOVED the dial & bezel design. But ended up trading it for another solar Seiko for a couple reasons:
the sub-dials are near useless. Between the 3 that's on there, one is just running seconds, the other one is a 24hr dial(why?) and the last chronograph one with the battery indicator is just way too small. When I checked my vision last year I still got 20/20 vision, and I have a really hard time figuring out how many minutes have passed.
for my 7.25 inch wrist, I was unable to find a good fit for the bracelet, and I liked that bracelet. It was either too tight, or too loose, if it just could have ONE more micro-adjust...
If you like the color then I'd say it's a very good dial. It takes sunburst to another level. Depends on your current light condition it will switch from silver to gold to champagne. Under direct sunlight you can even see ripples going across the dial.
