To calm those urges for a new glassbox TAG Heuer, I put this on and tell myself it’s gonna be okay… 😂
That said, I like the Hammy for what it is AND not because it’s comes close to those new beautiful watches. But I think there is something here… sorta like they are playing in the same pool, even if the Hammy is paddling in the shallow end 😂

I wish that worked for me. I have a watch purchase plan and it’s 6 watches long at the moment. The tag hurt isn’t on the list but I have to admit, that is a damn fun design. I haven’t held one but it sounds like that nailed it with the finish work too.
That Hamilton is a well designed watch as well. My wife wants one but I think it’s too chunky for her wrist.
If I were to though I would get the black dial. I can’t get enough of the big date at 12!

I can’t speak to her wrist, but on my 7 1/4” wrist it wears alright for being on the thicker end. Totally agree on the mechanical no-date… unfortunately was not released at the time I got this one or it’d probably sitting on my wrist right now 😂

Thanks. I’ll get two of them this year but the rest will have to wait u til after this year. Other things are budgeted too info unfortunately 😂. Tudor north flag in January, and a Bel Canto in June.

I have the mechanical version…I don’t think the thickness is an issue on either version but the lugs are sneaky long…just something to be aware of

Thanks. It’s one of those watches that just makes me smile. It’s between the Intra Matic and the Alpina Le Carree. Very different watches, I know, but both gimme that “gotcha” feeling. I’ll see if Santa puts any dead presidents in my stocking. Maybe I’ll end up with both! Merry Christmas!

I’ve considered getting the SPB143 (and variants) so many times, but I know it’d compete for wrist time with the 58… so same story but different shoe 😂
I love the Intramatic. Wears great, looks the part, and goes with so many straps. It has stopped me from buying other pandas. My really only criticism is the loud rotor, which is par for the course for the 7750.

Tbh, most of my watches are impulse purchases, but I enjoy all of them 😅 thinking about it for too long and a lot about this hobby doesn't make sense anymore.
I honestly think Hamilton makes the best looking chronographs, regardless of pricepoint. It’s such a balanced, well thought out and well proportioned design. I’d take this over a TAG any day. Gorgeous watch!
