Which one would YOU get?

I've run into the itch again, it's been since May, since I pulled the trigger on something. And both of these pieces have been living in my head rent-free. Now an additional kink in the cog, I've been waiting for a certain brand to release a watch, that many of us know and love. But never have stocked, as they ALWAYS sell out. I'm not entirely sure if I'll even be able to get my hands on one, when it does release. And both of the watches here, go rather quickly.. So I'm in a bit of a time crunch. I would love any insight on this or any advice you can give.

You can't go wrong with either watch. In fact, I'm rocking a Nodus today and have been eye-effing the hell out of Lorier recently. I chose the Falcon cause it's more of an everyday watch that I have been looking for. Only drawback there is that it really needs a sapphire crystal, though understanding that it's an intentional design decision to keep the vintage aesthetics.

·

I recently had the opportunity to try on the Falcon & it’s been stuck in my mind these past few days. Personally that’s my choice.

Can I have both?

·

It's not an apple and apple comparison. One is an explorer/field, the other is GMT. So, I guess, which one can't you live without?

I have GMT's and Field watches.. I'm selling a handful, but I'll still have a few of each. What would you pick for your collection?

·

Nodus, i like the look the GMT gives it as well, and the 38 is think is my size!

·

I went with the Lorier. Both look good though.

There’s a decent deal on Reddit watch exchange today for a falcon III you might want to check out.

Whoa really?

I'll try and check

·

I've got GMTs on the brain so I would say the Nodus though would probably choose the Lorier if it was the Hydra III

·

I will also add, I might be adding a Nodus at some point to.

But my Lorier's have been the most worn over the course of a year. Have just that extra something going on and disappear on the wrist. I'm also partial to the warmth and less smudgy appearance of acrylic.

·

Nodus as I like the originality of its design

This one.

·

Nodus for sure, the GMT looks great irl

·

The Lorier does nothing for me I'm afraid, whereas the Nodus has a dash of colour (even though it has a GMT that I'd never use).

·

Nodus would be my choice - for the dial aesthetics alone. Throw in the GMT and 38mm and it’s a slam dunk. Happy hunting! 🤙❤️

·

Both are well made watches. Both brands have solid WC and CS.

Aesthetics alone, the Nodus would be my choice. The dial on the Falcon is not to my liking.

If I were to choose for my own collection, I'd pick neither. I did consider the Lorier, but I found other options I prefer more. But since it's you who is choosing for your collection, then it's back to the question I asked -- Which one can't you live without?

A more important point is related to your comment...

How long have you been waiting on this certain brand? When was the last time they announced they will be in stock? Did you try to get one in the past when they were in stock? How many times did you miss out?

Now, since you said you're not entirely sure you'll be able to get your hands on the watch you really like, this means that there is still a chance you might, if you stick to your guns. And if so, how much are you willing to wait on this watch? Are you really in a rush? Because I'm guessing that both the Lorier and Nodus will continue to produce these models in the near future.

Or, have you decided to give up on that watch you really like, and chose to settle for the Lorier or Nodus? If so, then I refer back to my question above.

Whichever you choose, I trust you'll be glad with it. Image
