Before & After

Just got back the jubilee bracelet after a couple of days from the watchmaker. In the first photo, you can clearly see the stretch on the bracelet. The second photo shows the result after tightening. That’s one hell of a good job. Now I need to do some micro adjustments to loosen the bracelet.🤪🤪

They did a good job.

amazing job!

·

That's a great job. Looks brand new now.

·

I had no idea this could be done. I guess you can squeeze folded links back to approximate the original shape? There must be a few secret tricks to doing that properly.

·

Love it! I thought it was a new bracelet until I read the post. 👌🏼

·

Very nice. That watch is pure class.

I saw a short video on YT, where a guy was saying this was possible on a Rolex, but that it would take 2 weeks & cost $1000.

Im guessing yours did not take that long nor cost that much.

Mine took 3 days and about $120. Was supposed to take a week. I guess he worked really hard on it. 💪💪

Great job. Looks great

Like @PoorMansRolex said, I wonder how it was done? I guess I could figure it out after inspecting it but I don't have a Rolex bracelet.

Your guy did a nice job, that's quite a difference! 👍

It has to be some variation on clamping a link, but whether it is full analog massaging via experienced hands or just some convenient secret gizmo like a ring resizer (or some middle ground) is still a mystery.

·

Noticeably different. Looks much tighter and better of course.

·

Beautiful. I’ve been having a look through your WRUW and your collection of Rolex is jaw dropping.

Thank you 🙏!

By any chance was the work done by "The Rolex Bracelet Magician" at Classic Watch Repair in Hong Kong?

I couldn't find anyone in the U.S. at a reasonable price but it was well worth it to me to send mine overseas to the Magician after two different watchmakers told me to just "replace" my wife's two-tone jubilee.

Yours is a GREAT looking watch!

·

Nope. Mine was repaired by a watchmaker in Singapore.

Hey Benny! Is that your collection in your profile picture above? If so, that's an absolute HOLY grail collection. Well done brother! Is that the all silver 18k white gold Presidential Day-Date? WOW 😎

Yes. That’s the box of watches in my daily rotation now. Thank you for the compliments. And yes I just wore and posted the Day-Date yesterday in WRUW.

That is a fantastic and gorgeous watch! The possible ALL you'll EVER need watch. You can wear that with any outfit and it won't look out of place. Also, it can definitely replace the all gold day-date Tony Soprano Presidental - If you're not an all yellow gold connoisseur. I'm trying to source that watch and have it in my collection. Thanks for the reply 🤙🏽 Excellent choice 🍻👊🏽
