A Bit of History
On my wrist today is a vintage Grand Seiko 62GS. This day-date model is the 6246 from the year 1967 (56 years old). Besides being the very first Grand Seiko’s automatic watch, it is also my birth year watch.
I am not a “dressy” watch kind of person but this piece remains in my collection for the little bit of history it came with. And of course the significance of a birth year watch.
Note: watch is on a dark grey ostrich strap from Delugs.
