I wore my Casio worldtimer on my recent trip to Japan from Canada. It made it easy to change timezones when the plane landed. I carried with me my vintage Tissot Seastar (a watch salesperson called it a gen 1 Seastar) as I wore that on dress occasions. While in Japan, I went watch browsing and came home with a Citizen eco-drive chronograph. So I went with 2 watches, and came home with three. I wore the Casio on the flight back.
I'm waiting for my Junghans Meister Worldtimer to arrive. I ordered it with the steel bracelet. I'll post pictures when I get it. I'm waiting for my local AD to call me.
I did try it on. I really liked it. But as my retirement finances picture became clearer, I found my budget moving upward. My original requirement was for a traveller GMT watch and morphed into worldtimer because of this watch (which has both complications). Eventually, I ordered a different watch. I'm still waiting for it and will tell my story when it gets here. I still have in the back of my mind, to still get a Mido watch in the future.
I was going to get one, but this particular model fits too big on my wrist. The watch dealer said "it certainly makes a statement" on my wrist. I still do have a fascination with the Mido brand and may get Mido watch in the future.
I'm of the opinion that you might not get the certificate of authenticity as I highly doubt Costco is an AD of these brands. They might have struck a deal with Hodinkee or something. Bic is a pretty big chain of high end camera stores with a good reputation. I doubt they would blatantly sell fakes. Good luck finding the watch and congratulations on your marriage.
