Best aftermarket bracelet for the SMP 300m?
After eyeing this Forstner Bullet bracelet for a long time, I finally pulled the trigger and, i love it! I originally bought my SMP on the rubber because I was not a huge fan of the bulkiness of the OG bracelet and, i have tiny wrists so, i went with the much more comfortable option. After buying a ton of straps, not because i don’t like it on the rubber but, because this thing is a strap monster, I still felt like it needed a bracelet.
After comparing all the other aftermarket bracelets I found that Forstner was the best option for me. They had a ton of options to choose from like the flat link vintage style, to the super popular jubilee bracelet. I was a huge fan of Omegas new style bullet bracelet for the new Speedmaster moon watch so, i decided to go with that one for the SMP.
All in all, it does not compare to the OG bracelet in quality, as it shouldn’t but, it does scratch the itch. So, if you are looking for an aftermarket bracelet for the SMP 300m go check out Forstner!

I was on the fence as well but, when i tried them on at the AD with my wife and my best friend in company, we all decided that the white was the best looking one of the two.

Yeah leaning towards the white dial too my AD will have the Black dial For less price but I should go with what I like more than the price so no regrets !! 😆

Would you suggest get the rubber strap and then just buy the forstner braclet?

Me too. Is it just me or are there more watches in general at ADs these days (barring Rolex of course). I never saw the white dialed SMP at the usual places I check and now I see it everywhere (and really want one now). Did the green dial version take its place in the back room/ short supply?

That’s all based off your preference. I always recommend to buy on a bracelet, especially if you’re going to resell it down the line. Who knows, you may like the bracelet better than I did.

If it means anything, I opted for the rubber as I didn’t care for the bracelet, especially at that price point. A rare time I didn’t buy the bracelet. I’d make the same decision every time in the case of the SMP bracelet. If you like the black, may I suggest a dark grey? The white is a great looking watch. Congrats OP, great combo!

That dial loves the sun! it looks great on the blue leather. I got mine on the deployant and has smaller holes in the rubber than the pin buckle... not a fan of the larger holes for the pin

I went for the white SMp 300 and I Love it
I tried the Zealnde white strap and it didn’t feel right, the strap colour is a bit off white compared to the white dial
