New wedding watch
I bought my first Rolex, a beautiful explorer 1 40mm, I wanted a special watch for my wedding and what a better excuse to buy a Rolex 😬 I think in the professional line this explorer 40mm is the most versatile, and a good option for a formal and special occasion 👌

I love the Explorer. When I get a Rolex, that one is among the finalists. Clean, simple layout, lovely bezel, Oyster bracelet, what's not to like?

I think the same! it's lovely, but for a professional rolex I do think is shiny like most rolex, I like the explorer 2 more for a daily, but this explorer 1 40mm it's so versatile!

She doesn't want to wear a watch on the wedding, and in general she dont like watches, I already give her a Tissot for a daily and she really like it, i'm thinking of someday in the future give her a rolex datejust 31mm

Thanks! Yes it is the IWC leather box, it's very practical, I use it as a travel case for my watches, I wish Rolex boxes could have the same use as a travel case

I tried the 36mm, but I think it looks small on me, more vintage and I like more modern looks on the 40mm although the lug to lug with the first piece of the bracelet getting out of the 40mm makes it so large! I almost regret of not getting the 36mm, at the end I stick to the 40mm thinking it’s in the limit of feeling too large on my wrist
