What are some watches you wish you’ll own oneday?

I’m pretty sure if I sold all the Seikos and micro brands I own, I could pick one of this up. As much as I want these, I can’t seem to pull the trigger due to either price or bills that gots to be paid.

But before it’s too late, I would like to own at least one of these someday. What about you, my watch collector friends? What are some watches you would like to own?

The only brands that really catch my eye above about $2k, a line I've yet to cross, are Omega, Panerai, and Tudor. Tudor doesn't have a model I'd buy, but isn't far off. From Omega, I'm quite interested in the SMP300, planet ocean, and railmaster (if they change some colors around just right.) Panerai is the least likely because of the price for a pure tool watch, but I'll do a little wishful thinking for this kind of question. I'm not sure what model from them because I'm frankly so far from considering it a genuine possibility that I haven't punished myself by genuinely looking into them yet.

A Speedmaster and a birth year Datejust

You'll get there! These things accelerate faster than you think!

·

Man you have great taste, Ive considered both the Uboat and the Arnie, but Panerai is my grail. They are all big tough action hero watches.

·

I really would like to have a Seiko 'Pogue' a quite obtainable dream watch ⌚

I’m no longer impressed by big name brand watches anymore. I’ve tried on expensive watches at the dealer and was shock at how underwhelming the experience was. I would however like to own a fifty fathoms one day or a panerai. I’m more excited about the variety, innovation and design of micro brands. Rolex, Omega etc.. meh.

·

My two grail’s are older vintage watches. Sinn 156b and Lemania 6bb.

This immediately comes to mind: Parmigiani Fleuier Tonda.

·

Tried on the 44mm Panerai Submersible Carbotech today at the boutique. The one with the blue dialandstrap. That's the one for me.

I keep a running list and evaluate it from time to time. Hard to find ways to stay focused and not just buy another watch. So tough!

·

Rolex OP, Nomos Club Campus, Sinn 556, a first and second gen Omega Seamaster 300m….if I keep thinking the list keeps growing.

I think I'd have to sell my family to get it, but I dream of one day owning a Royal Oak Offshore Chrono

Pipe dream: Lange Saxonia Copper Blue

I had a guy near me selling a superb example of one of those Uboats but it was if I remember about 53mm? I like big pieces but come on

·

I’m not sure which reference. But I would like to own a Panerai Luminor one day. Most likely one of the base models.

·

Oris Big Crown Pointer Date

·

The Arnie for sure .

·

I own a Panerai and a Arnie (orange dial) and the Arnie is my favorite.

Had it since 84 and still works superbly bar the waterproofing.

An iconic piece which you should get and won’t lose money on
