Exactly my point too. Highly recommend this to anyone who's looking at the finishing of the watch over having an in-house movement with higher price tag. Granted it's in a way more prestige when you have your own in house movement, but for me, it loses the flexibility of being able to have other watchmakers to service it in the future. I'd say, buy it before it blows up. 😎 I do believe it will over time...more and more reviews are also surfacing in YouTube.
Don't mention it! Yes, if you can overlook that their movements are ETA (which works for me since it's cheaper to service). Their finishing honestly is awesome..plus everything from case to dial are all handmade (At least based on my understanding). 😉 Plus the design imo is really original to Minase too.
And in some ways, I'm the kind that goes the opposite direction when others are crowding towards the Grand Seiko space. 😄 Lastly if you are okay with pre-owned, try looking out on Chrono24, you can catch really decent deals there! 🙂
I'm not too sure as well. I didn't bother waiting for mine as I've yet to ROD and am from SPF. So decided to grab one in the used market before they start "disappearing". 😉
