Ride out with my dad

I when out with my dad today on the bikes had my favourite tool watch/ luxury beater the Tudor Pelagos 42.

Image

All out ready to go my Triumph tiger 800 xc and my dad’s buell lightening

Image

Taking it Steady as it’s my dad’s first time out on the bike properly in a few years

Image

The Beull it’s the Invicta of the bike world haha a sports bike frame but with a Harley Davison engine it shouldn’t work but it does! It’s lots of fun to ride

Image

We made it to the biker cafe

Image

Cuppa and a look at all the other bikes there

Image

Back on the road and quick pee stop my dad in picture he is also into watches he is wearing his citizen titanium promaater tough in blue

Image

We stopped at another cafe by a old ruins of the castle

So had a little walk around the place

Love the pics, haven't seen a Buell for a while but always liked them.

·

Firstly, part time biker here (used to be full time) great watch and bikes and a great day out. Love that disk brake on the Beull. Never ever ridden a belt drive bike, would love to try, then again never wore Tudor and would also love to try.

Yeah you don’t see many of them

I let my bike license lapse two years ago and I really regret it …it’s a real arse ache to re-do it ( although Micheal Dunlop passed his road test a wee while ago )

I couldn’t be with my bike

My buddy watch maker buddy Nick always told me riding a motorcycle or anything with high vibrations can damage a mechanical/automatic. Do you find that not true

·

I don't ride, but if I did, I'd get a Super X. Beautiful bike.

Thanks for taking us along with your adventure! 🍻

Tool watch beater? Holy smokes I wish I could afford one 🤞

·

Your triumph would match well with the tudor fast rider 🙂

To be honest it Depends on the type of engine on the bike my bike has a “triple” a 3 cylinder engine so it’s silky smooth but my dads is a Vtwin Harley Davison engine so that shakes like a shitting dog 🤣🤣so I might be a bit hesitant to wear my mechanical watch on it but I’ve used vibrating power tools wearing this watch most the time and it’s ok so far.

Great day adventure with your dad, thanks for sharing!

Very nice! What's even better than watches is spending all this wonderful time building beautiful memories with your dad! Enjoy the ride and the watches fellas!!!

Thanks and I can’t agree more

·

The thing I always asked myself was how do the watches fit under the “tight” leather biker suits

·

Thanks for the ride along Michael. Very cool 😎

·

The white one is stunning 😍

Love the pics, and the whole story of a simple yet special ride out with dad. Really nicely done and of course, hard to think of a better watch for that ride!

·

Cool I’ve only ever ridden one bmw boxer engine bike before it had a sidecar ha

Thanks for this. It’s a good reminder that life is good and it’s the memories you create that bring the joy. Watches really are just an accessory.

Yeah you don’t see many of them

A colleague had one a few years ago, I always liked the sound.

The instructor took him to coffee shops were he knew his mates would see him😎….emergency stop from 200mph?

Haha and can you just ride through this village at 140, six inches from a garden wall 😂
