Yet another unplanned NWA
So, I put it to you: on a wedding trip to Vegas, is there a better way to mark such an occasion than with a new watch? I inadvertently wandered into every watch boutique I encountered while walking the air-conditioned shopping centres. Cartier, sadly, had very little to offer, so I went to Omega and asked if they had any of the new 75th anniversary 'Summer Blue' editions. They didn't have many: Aqua Terra in 38mm and 41mm, but they did have a 300m. Having bought the green 300m less than five months ago, I wasn't too interested until they brought it out to show me. I'm not sure if it was the heat, but it's such a stunning dial I fell in love with it. So I now have a ridiculously Omega-heavy collection, and I couldn't be happier!
