I’m a Panarista, and mum of two. I work in IT but I like vintage and analogue things such as mechanical watches, journaling, and the great outdoors. I have a preference for watches with bold simple dials.

I’ve never owned one but I kinda have my eye on the C63 Sealander GMT in the white dial. Curious how you find the time keeping and build quality as I’ve been considering this one for a while.
I have a thing for GMT watches I’m realising, but hate the ones with the two tone bezels!
I don’t have any issues with the branding on the dial. I’d take this above a Pepsi bezel any day. Maybe I’m in the minority here but I much prefer the bezel to have a uniform look.

I vote for the Aqua Tera. The seamaster puts me off with those hands and that helium valve, and although I love GMT watches, I hate two colour bezels with a passion!
Maybe I’m a bit of a contrarian, but the more people idolise Rolex the more it puts me off the brand. I’ve never set my sights on the conventional objectives in life, instead looking for the path that feels right to me, the goals that I find interesting rather than jumping on any band wagons.
Perhaps I’m just difficult and if you tell me to like something my automatic reaction is to say no…I’m not sure 😊 but the more popular something is the less I want to like it.
commented onStrap colours for watch with black case·
I’d also suggest seeing if there are any colours on the dial you could pull out with the strap. I have a watch with a black case and a lovely blue sunburst dial, and have a nice blue strap on it. I have one which is all black and has a lovely lavender strap on it.

Wow that’s another really striking piece!
Neither are something I think I could pull off, even if I did want to wear them, but I still find them interesting looking at the design and admiring them from afar. I also like watches with a story around them or history so you find a lot of these pieces have some interesting stories to go along with them!
