Look at this beauty on the wrist

As some of you know, I only got this piece a couple days  ago and wasn’t sure if it was going to stay in the collection due to it only being a 32mm watch but on wrist I think it looks pretty good.

Its a manual wind 1930s Tudor, When I first got it, it wouldn’t wind so I got the main spring released and re-oiled up and it’s kept perfect time since.

I think I’ll have to keep it a couple more days on the wrist before I can be sure if it’s a keeper.

Mate I think it looks fine on your wrist, I think it comes down to the case shape, if it was round then possibly it would look a bit smaller but being more square I definitely think it looks good.

What a beauty! May I ask you where did you get it from?

Wow, the watch looks fantastic in itself and looks great on you. It reminds me of one of the Fears current watches, maybe the Brunswick?

Amazing find!

This one was gifted to me but was an auction fund last week at the amazing cost of £145 all in. It was detached from its front casing and needed the main spring released but is keeping incredible time

Wow! If you are fine mentioning it, what is the name of that auction place? My 5KX cost more than that vintage-cool Tudor! Lovely piece

It was easy live and the auction house was Alnwick who I’ve bought off in the past and they are really good and happy to post

Thanks! Enjoy that beauty!

Awesome 👏 piece I would def keep it - maybe have to look for one for myself 👌

·

Its a man size vintage watch for sure. A rare piece to come by.

·

Awesome watch. I think it needs a bit of TLC and it will be a keeper.

It's gorgeous and the size looks fine on your wrist. I'm of the school that says there's no such thing as "too small". I'd take an undersized (by modern standards) watch over a 45mm+ beast any day. If it was good enough for our grandfathers it should be good enough for us!

·

It's whatever you feel comfortable with, as you're the person who has to look at it all the time :) I've had watches before and I haven't felt particularly comfortable with how they look on me. 101 people on the Internet could say it looks fine, but if I'm not feeling it, then I'm not feeling it. You don't wear things to make other folk happy. See how you go. There is no right or wrong answer, just how YOU feel :)

I’ve been wearing her all day today and she hasn’t missed a beat. So she’s a keeper and will join my eclectic assortment but this means something has to go. I might put it to public opinion to what’s for the cull.

Congrats 🥳!

I left some extra info in your original post 😉👍.

·

What a beauty! It really works well on your wrist mate. Don't worry about the size we need to bring back vintage sizing imo

Huh, I never thought I'd say that Tudor looks like Nomos, or more like, Nomos looks like a Tudor. I'd go as far to say the Nomos is a Tudor homage. Who knew?
