Sounds like fun, however I’m unfortunately going to be just back from a fairly long holiday in Thailand at that point so it’d be difficult to make it. Perhaps next time.

You can purchase rubber backed leather straps if you want leather but not have leather against your skin. Just something else to consider, assuming you don’t have issues with rubber.

Welcome Cesar,

Interesting offering! Magnetically controlled, oil filled, single hand watches with interchangeable cases. Sounds like a unique combination of features!

I’ll put the word out on a watch Discord that I’m part of. Good luck, hope you do well and continue to build watches for years to come!

It’s appalling that people can behave like that, however nothing will change if people then support that business as a response to poor customer service.

If you had taken your business elsewhere it would have made a stronger statement about how you were treated at that store. As it was you just enabled that behaviour to continue with the next customer.

It’s a beautiful watch. I keep getting tempted by one of those.

I keep telling myself I don’t need another GMT though….but on the other hand it might make me save money by not buying a Black Bay Pro or Explorer II….

commented on Is absolute precision really that important? ·

I think part of what I enjoy in watches is having a well crafted machine on my wrist. The accuracy isn’t in itself, hyper important, as long as the watch doesn’t run slow I won’t be late for things, but I do find a lot more satisfaction in watches that are more accurate, not necessarily just because it’s more accurate, but because to me that signifies to me, that the watch is crafted to a higher standard.

Having these little machines on our wrist that keep time, powered only by our movement, just seems more impressive to me if it can do so with a high degree of precision.

I don’t think I’m alone in this as I’ve seen one or two comments above which have also shared these sentiments.
